Forgeworks

Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. At Gizmo, it’s in our boil kettle in which we produce every batch. For the boys at Bennett Forgeworks in Colorado who built our kettle, it’s in the kiln. We pay homage to their passion and craft with our Winter seasonal, Forgeworks Smoked Porter.

This porter was malleable as we hammered out the details. The aroma is spicy with hints of bonfire. Caramel and chocolate malts melt into a body that’s as toasty as a perfectly burnt marshmallow. A healthy dose of smoked malts are released unrestrained. The combination is a smoky, smooth balance between the flames and its ashes. This brew will warm you up every time.
