Powder Horn

As fans of brewing experimental beers, we decided to brew something new and refreshing to get through the dog days of summer. A hybrid of a Belgian Wit and an American IPA, our White IPA is crisp, refreshing and packed full of fresh hops.

This brew has some serious firepower. Named after the container fashioned from a horn and used by soldiers and hunters for generations to hold gun powder, the similarities are striking. Pilsen malt and flaked wheat form a pale, hazy body that houses its peppery Belgian esters. The spicy lemon and grapefruit citrus aroma reveal the vessel’s true content: an explosive combination of Sorachi Ace, Galena, and Zythos by the plenty.
